In this episode, Hank says you need to "earn" a girl's attention.
This is no different than the meathead Joe Rogan look-a-like telling the guys in the room to lie on dating profiles or go to the gym at 5 am every day.
The truth is, you shouldn't need to be "earning" a girl's attention at all.
The much more likely scenario is that you already had a girl's attention because she liked you, and you drove her away by acting poorly.
There is also the option of outside influence such as the girl's friend group or social media circles putting her down for dating you, and her failing to mention any of this to you.
In short: Hank Hill gave these guys terrible advice. Hank never had to "earn" Peggy's attention. He had it by default and most of the stories revolving around these characters are about them messing up like anyone would, and deciding to stay friends.
>>213824917 (OP)And? Hank's the most level-headed character on the show but he's still naive, simple and often gives bad advice.
>>213824917 (OP)Christ this episode really triggered you fags, huh. 9 threads a day about it here and on/co/
>>213824938Hmm the issue is they'll never come back to this.
The advice is presented as good and life-changing when it's incorrect.
If they revisit this then that is fair. Hank is just meant to be a normal guy.
>>213824962Good job. Anons will get mad at you.
there's already a thread
>>213823145that's just what people have been teaching kids (wrong, not on purpose) for decades.
For me, the cringiest part was the first 1/2 of the first episode.
100% callbacks.
>HA HA HANK LIKES PROPANE AND HAS A NARROW DICK
for 15 minutes.
>>213824917 (OP)>The truth is, you shouldn't need to be "earning" a girl's attention at all.You arenโt entitled to girls just by existing
>>213824968the entire point of the character is he's espousing "wisdom" that is ultimately wrong, from a time that doesn't exist anymore, that is only harmful/hurtful now.
>>213825008Shit man. This episode wasn't new so I kinda didn't look at the catalog. I guess I can just link this thread in the other one.
>>213825036IMO it was ALWAYS harmful.
>>213824917 (OP)>Hank never had to "earn" Peggy's attention. He still had to go talk to her, something that incels refuse to do
>>213825034Book of Genesis says otherwise.
>>213825063>He still had to go talk to her, something that incels refuse to dogiven some of the absolute crucifixion kids are facing online for talking to girls i don't really blame them
this episode was written by a woman who wrote for velma. there is your answer
the theme of the episode was good idea a shame they have to hand it to man hating feminists instead of giving it the old KotH touch / pov where hank could give some actual good advice to a young generation
>>213825132what good advice has hank ever given?
>>213824917 (OP)I can get girls attention, but after I talk to them I lose it almost immediately. Can they sense I'm misogynistic and hate women?
>>213824917 (OP)Well if you're rich and famous and murder a lot of people, you'll earn girls' attention, so he isn't wrong there.
>>213825124>crucifixion kids are facing online for talking to girlsTalking to girls in question:
>Hey, nice honkers, you really need to hop your ugly ass on my dick, you whore. And yes, I saw this trainwreck happen in real time in school
>Hank Hill's advice is bad
The episode itself is bad.
>>213825124>absolute crucifixion kids are facing online for talking to girlsshit that never happens
