Some episodes feel like lol random holds spork humor but they’re really good at capturing the feeling of being young and interacting with different subcultures/scenes, you relate to Vince wanting to express himself and explore these different scenarios and meeting new people but you also related to Howard’s cynicism of how shallow and stupid most of this ends up being, the punk episode is the best example and how they summarize punk culture in 2 minutes as just posh kids throwing a fit with daddy’s money

Unfortunate, because it was absolutely not used in an offensive capacity. Fortunately we needn't rely on ((Netflix)) to access classic media.

>Also so funny to me that the only thing Noel does now is co-present great British bake-off
He was later great on IT Crowd of course, and he did a kino episode of Richard Ayoade's Travel Man, but it seems like all our old favorite Boosh Boys are well and thoroughly cucked. Both "Dick Turpin" and Matt Berry's "Year of the Rabbit" (honorary Boosh Boy from S1) were garbage; obviously you can't make real TV on the BBC anymore.

What the fuck has Julian been up to? Enjoying his residual earnings I hope, far far away from London.

If you watch Monty Python's meaning of life, you can see how heavily influenced it was by older comedy. Irreverent humour has long been a staple of British comedy.

Each has its charms, but for me it's probably Crack Fox and Call of the Yeti, the latter which has those really pretty psycehdelic nighttime effects. But how could you forget S1 classics like the cheese man.

Thanks for not calling me out for deleting those mistyped posts, it's fucking late. But yeah, you also have references to Tron, Mad Max, Footloose, Teen Wolf (I WAS A TEENAGE DRACULER), and probably more.

If you were around for the OG airing, do you also remember Saul of the Mole Men? That's another thing I think got memory holed, even though it's so (happily) stupid that it might actually appeal to the Skibibi Toilet generation.
