I knew it was going to be fucked from the getgo when they announced it was set on the West Coast. I retardedly got excited thinking we'd get to see the West Coast post-NV, which is described as a semi-thriving nation where civilization has actually regrown. NCR population is in the hundreds of thousands and places like Arroyo should be fully functioning cities. Instead we just get sand, dust and a megaton-esque "town" which is just a bunch of people living in an airplane wreck, having made no attempt to fix the place up or make it more liveable in 200 years. They literally sent the entire coast back to the fucking stone age for NO reason other than the fact that Bethesda writers have 0 understanding of how to make civilization work in their post-apocalyptic theme park setting.

A good sentiment but Legion is founded on a cult of personality. Caesar himself laments this and that he never trained a true successor. Legate Lanius is a giant fucking retard who can be convinced to simply withdraw his forces because "durrr u heard of a thing called supply lines" and Caesar also understands this. Anything Legion post-Caesar will be a facsimile of what it was before, and realistically the entire faction would've imploded in a series of power struggles, rebellions and civil wars through the Rockies and further east once news of Caesar's passing reached them.

why do we have to wait until december to watch it? the show finished filming months ago, what are they waiting for? the special effects in the trailer seemed finished? where they waiting to see peoples reaction to the trailer to make some last minute changes? im sure the new season is perfect as is, no reshoots required, just release it already! they should do like video games and let people who pay a $100 for special editions to play early, ill pay a $100 to watch the show before poor people can.

Bethesda never understood that Fallout isn't set immediately after the nukes dropped but several generations after the event. Even if the original games were advertised as such, they were never post-apocalyptic games but post-post apocalypse.
