I REFUSE to acknowledge any form of subtext or symbolism in television and films. If a director or a scenarist has a message to pass onto me, then they better be explicit about it because I WILL NOT go through the effort of decrypting their work to understand their intentions. From now on, anything that happens on the screen I take it first degree, period.

Same I hate movies with messages or political agendas I ignore it and enjoy it as a fun fantasy story
