I thought it was pretty enjoyable in the director's cut forms. Never saw the original cuts. The visuals were cool, thought the universe felt interesting and visually appealing, liked the violence and sex because an edgy R rated sci fi felt refreshing. I thought in general the whole thing felt a lot like pulp sci fi novels from the 60's and 70's, which are similarly a bit dumb but fun and imaginative. Its a bit cornball but I liked it overall.
