The series is just subtext, because it's a sports series focused on Mahjong with super powers, for everything else the majority of characters are gay in a possible or in a relationship too obvious to require any confirmation, you'd have to be stupid not to see it.

In addition to the obvious couples clearly having an active sex life, IPS cells are a common thing in this universe (at the cost of not having underwear) so yes, there are all-female families too, like Hisa's mothers who were separated because of a car accident and that's what caused the drama that separated Hisa from Mihoko in the first place.
