I'll be real, I don't think Kui actually bothers keeping this in mind unless she really wants to emphasize it. Like there's a joke panel in her explanation that shows Kabru has lost a lot of weight from all his deaths in the dungeon, but he seems normal in the actual manga.
Falin is just broader than Marcille, and pairs big boobs with baggy clothing so she looks bigger than she is.

The subtext is definitely intentional and her love for Falin motivates everything Marcille does, but they ultimately don't interact that much because Falin gets eaten by a dragon in chapter one. Read it as a great fantasy manga with some yuri spice.

I genuinely think one of Dungeon Meshi's greatest strengths is how little it cares for romance or shipping in general compared to a lot of manga. Like, it's not completely absent, but there's a general sense of professionalism among the cast. They've got bigger things to worry about.

I assume that the ideal body shape for adventurers is a "bulked up" one, muscular but with a lot of fat reserves. Fallin probably tried to copy Laios' routine but the female body stores fat in a different way so she ends up more chubby than bulky.

Like, as far as I can pull from my brain, you have to either go for the sunk Fallin/Shuro or pick up scraps like that gold digger bitch who gets mentioned once or make assumptions about orc/human compatibility with the orc chieftain's daughter to get an heir for the kingdom without resorting to OCs.

There's no need to make fansubs because most anime nowadays get an official simulcast release on one platform or the other. Most fansubs are also usually just revisions of official subs instead of translated from scratch.
Real fansubs only crop up when official subs shit the bed, which in fact happened just last month with the first episode of Necronomico (uncurated machine-translated subs which somehow made it past QC).
