You know, while I agree that it's messed up, I feel like that's the whole point. It's supposed to be that way because it's just there to create drama. The point of the show is to see how the relationship between the two women blossoms despite all of that. Obviously, that's not going to be for everybody, though, so I can't blame you for disliking it. I don't feel all that strongly about the show myself, either.

Yep fear street trilogy somehow managed to get a lesbian MC. I don't care if it's cliche, the leads are cute and the "everyone knows your gay but you can't be out because your whole family will disown you" religious setting hits too close to home. The films is a little too earnest for its own good but the bathroom dry humping was unreal and the closure makes up for an otherwise bitter ending.

The acting is not very good and the plot is ridiculous. There's a weird amount of partial nudity given the age of the characters and one nearly spills out of her cup but the editors left the shot in. Can't really recommend, but the kiss between them was cute.

Here Come the Dykes is about a photo series of lesbians 79 to 84. Dandelion is about a lesbian catholic school girl who got kicked out of school and the case worker assigned to her. Hold Me Close is about the very intimate lives of a young lesbian couple.

This movie, Carmilla, is bretty gud. Bad end, of course, but up until then it's kinda spooky and sweet.

I know that Thai remakes of Japanese Dramas (mostly BL) are a thing, but I don't think the opposite happens all that much. I believe there was only one other Thai drama that got a Japanese remake, and that was also BL.
Either way, I don't think we'll be getting any Japanese remakes of actual GL Thai dramas anytime soon, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
