We have a new foreshadowing! This time it foreshadows that the next chapter will be on hiatus, because where does a mangaka working diligently on a serialization have time to complete videogames?

In what way do you think it's a waste of time?
The characters I'm clearly referring to according to my post have been types like Konoka and Setsuna (Negima!), Katja (Qwaser) and to a lesser degree Maihime (HxEros). Other series that come to mind that have such characters off the top of my head (regardless of whether I've seen or not) are Strike the Blood and Marriage Toxin.

Both kiss Negi for pactio and have a whopping one chapter where they're on a date completely disconnected from his going-ons, I wouldn't exactly call it worthwhile.

The lesbo character is fairly common in harem genre
The rare part is where they are treated seriously and remain bro types
The rarer part is where they get their own girlfriend and plot

The latter two generally happen if author happens to be a yurifag

Listen man like a lot of elder yurifags I got a Shiznat folder and all that, my tolerance is up there.
You don't have to live like that anymore. We got our shots, we got our innoculations, we got callouses on our hands from the before times. Now we live in a world where yuri anime gets produced on the regular and you can see new yuri manga and art getting scanlated every day.

Rage inducing. auhors doing it should be made fun and disliked.
But we all have ouer resistances to shit, this one just irks me the most.
I just dont have tolerance for this shit.
I agree with that one girl that got made fun of on twitter, we do deserve proper stories where female protag has yuri harem even if, harem genre as a whole is bad.

But yea you dont have to live with accepting this shit just find a proper yuri series and read that.

>we deserve yuri harem
>harem bad
Choose 1: Why would anyone making yuri harem if yuri fans prefer non-harem? There needs to be an audience willing to pay for the yuri harems
That said, Watanare is getting an anime and I feel there has to be more not adapted to anime. That take always came up to me as misinformed
I just don't see yurifags liking harem in the same way hetfags do, so of course yuri harem is gonna be a limited thing if the audience is a niche within a niche

Yuri harem is inherently different from het harem, or at least it has the potential to be.
The key difference is that yuri harem MCs are not obligated to be empty vessels for the sake of viewers' self-inserting, they can be interesting characters in their own right. This fixes one of the core issues with harem, that a lot of colourful girls are all interested in a boring-ass guy for the lamest of reasons.
Then there's of course how girls in a yuri harem can hook with each other and not feel forced. Het harems are not even romances, they're horse races in which viewers bet on which bitch will win the race. Yuri harems don't need to be like that, since every girl can get her own happy ending, and a polygamous ending is not out of the question either.
All that said, Watanare is not the best example. Yuri ja nai is a better example of how a yuri harem should be.

>yuri fans prefer non-harem?
That's what they say but when they find that the heroines are good characters then most yuri fans become shippers that want their favorite girl to win. They say they don't want to read yuri harem but apparently some of them need to read yuri harem.

It's lame. Even if it's totally platonic (which it almost never is there's usually some teasing and fanservice) it still plays into the same male power fantasy about having tons of women in your orbit. Fundamentally all harem shows are wish fulfillment aimed at straight men. Kill with fire.

Then again, it's still a rare thing to find and people have already said there's enough yuri that there's no need to seek yuri subplots in het

I haven't bought any anime BDs in a while since I've been buying girl band CDs and concert BDs lately, but based on my own collection and a quick search on amazon, these shows are available on BD:
Full yuri:
Adachi and Shimamura, Bloom into You, Fragtime, Kase-san, yuruyuri, MahouAko, Dragon Maid, Valkyrie Drive, Sakura Trick, Vexations of a Shut-in Vampire Princess
Subtext:
Granbelm, Super Cub, Tamayomi, Lycoris Recoil, Edomae Elf, Bocchi, GuP, a whole bunch of Nanoha shows that I've never watched, Jellyfish show, Yuyushiki, Action Heroine Cheer Fruits, K-On, Flip Flappers
Really, about anything that aired within the last three years or so should be available on BD by now; anything newer is probably still in the pipeline. On a side note, I bought a HDR-capable monitor the other day and animated lesbians never looked so good.

I tried watching horizon because of it's lesbian side couple but even though it was setting that up in the first episode I bounced off of it on the back of the male protagonist walking up and groping a character that had been effectively holding off the rest of the cast for most of the episode. I just couldn't take the narrative seriously anymore. I feel a kinship with this >>4422274 perspective.

Loli is a body type but oneeloli is age gap with the younger girl being a loli. If the loli is younger than the onee, it stands to reason that it's still oneeloli even if the loli is 500 years old.

It's still a pretty fanservicy series, no doubt about it. But I was fine watching it, there is enough intrigue for me to follow even when the lesbian couple wasnt on screen and of course they delivered not only one of the best onscreen kiss back then but also some really battle scenes

And perhaps more importantly, they were just a nice couple. The class acknowledges them and there isnt any unforced relationbship drama
