It's the story about the project Shaddiq mentioned in episode 8. He and Miorine used to be close (friends), and Miorine wanted Delling's acknowledgement, so she asked Shaddiq to help her in a competition because he had a company. Things go okay, Miorine gets along with Grassley, but said company was supposed to be shut down and Sarius ordered Shaddiq to get rid of said company. He obeyed and betrayed Miorine, who got very upset at him and never talked to him again.

It's Shaddiq-centered, and his obsession with Miorine is cringy, yet it's worth listening. Aside from making Shaddiq more interesting and a huge bitch; we confirm how lonely Miorine was before Suletta, she really had nobody to rely on: she had no friends, Jeturk brothers were out of the question and Shaddiq had plans in which Miorine could get in the way. We get to know how is the dynamic with the Grassley girls, we see them bantering with Miorine. And is pretty intriguing to know how committed Shaddiq and the girls were to their cause.

Tl;dr. It's about why Miorine and Shaddiq fell off.

I think the original episode, or at least its translation, didn't say it was specifically Shaddiq who chickened out of their plan, but it fits better than Miorine being mad at him for not making a play to be the Holder. It also explains why the Grassley girls know Miorine and seem to like her. The girls talking up Shaddiq in front of her is kind of cute. They clearly have a lot of power in their operation, given how Henao's the one who handled making contact with SAL.

Miorine continues being funny about Earthians. She isn't the slightest bit personally prejudiced against them, but also thinks it's reasonable to be furious at Earthian orphan Shaddiq for not throwing out everything he's gained at Grassley for a business plan hatched by two middle schoolers.

So Shaddiq too sacrificed his relationship with the girl he loved for the mission. That deepens his weird idea of Guel having corrupted Miorine. While still sexist, he's furious about Miorine going down the same path as him. Maybe that's part of why he's so happy about Suletta coming back and giving Miorine a second chance. Of course his feelings didn't stay sacrificed and turned possessive.

Yeah, Miorine didn't know about Shaddiq's situation; she probably thought he was like her, she could lash out at Delling, cuss at him and he would keep supporting her unconditionally. Still, Shaddiq should've refused instead of helping her knowing he can't, it was avoidable.

Well, at least she knows by the anime's ep 8 when she tells Suletta and Shaddiq mentions being half-Earthian and calls his position precarious when talking to her in the drama cd. That was enough information for Miorine to realize he'd have been on his ass if he started rebelling, but maybe there's a reason Shaddiq says the old Miorine would have never stepped up for another person. Well, she's either 14 or 15 when this happens, so some self-absorption is to be expected.

I checked the episode and Shaddiq says they had to abandon their project because their dads (otousantachi) found out and scolded them. It isn't necessarily incompatible with what happens here if he's trying not to remind Miorine of what she considers his betrayal.

He did tell Miorine about his company's situation. I don't think it was unreasonable to think he'd have been able to talk Sarius into keeping the business running to foster a good relationship with Miorine, like he tries to do.

I actually miscounted, since she's a year younger than Shaddiq. She's 13–14.

For all that /u/ was initially skeptical about a drama about one of the girls' relationship with a guy, that part's handled in a yuri friendly way. Miorine seems to like Shaddiq mostly as a capable business partner and is far more emotionally open with the girls. It's kind of nice that in the end they become her crew (terrorists she's honor-bound to keep on the payroll).

Right, Miorine and Shaddiq are similar because of that, the difference is what they considered important: Miorine gave up a lot of things (including her happiness) for Suletta, Shaddiq gave up his happiness for his Earthian cause.

About the other thing about standing up for Miorine, it's funny because Shaddiq wanted to help her, he simply was a pussy. What was his plan for her? Wonder what would've happened if Suletta never arrived, aside from Miorine dying, of course.

Yeah, I alluded to that in the last sentence. Shaddiq's behavior is reasonable in the drama cd and would have been even if he wasn't planning a coup. His behavior in the anime is not, as he won't commit to the decision he made here and becomes obsessed and possessive. That's shown well with Sabina, who in the drama cd is supportive of Shaddiq teaming up with Miorine but in the anime does her best to steer him clear of her.

Kek, no. Becoming BG president and finishing QZ was Prospera's deal; we could argue she did it for Suletta since QZ was described as something that can stop wars and conflicts. Before the greenhouse argument, Miorine was more interested in living like she did before the terrorist attack.

I think the fact Miorine thought she was helping Suletta by taking responsibilities from her in episode 10 explains it.

I remember reading a while ago about how Miorine actually lacks self-worth. Her mom died and was abandoned by her dad immediately; people cared about her because of the Rembran name, and the only person who "loved" her had other priorities. With a background like that, Suletta was definitely a shock: Someone who stood up for her, trusted her and was willing to help her in anything. She wanted to fill her list and enjoy school, yet she was happier helping and spending time with Miorine. Suletta was really open with that and Miorine failed to notice it because, according to Lynn—in that now-unavailable gundaminfo interview—, she was very busy with the company. So the question would be how Miorine perceived Suletta.

Yes. Some people think Miorine said those things to make Suletta feel useful, but considering Lynn said that scene was Miorine pouring her feelings, maybe those were the words Suletta wanted to hear, but also the words Miorine needed to say. That was the first time Miorine was able to be a little selfish.

Yes, but no. Miorine was jealous and clumsily wanted to keep Suletta for herself, but she was very wary about Peil too, and ended up being right when El0n and Peil settled Suletta up in episode 7.
About the piloting test, I think you're reading too much. Kana said she was instructed to act like a toddler throwing a tantrum, kek. Miorine was pushing Suletta to not give up her test, it's important to point out she was assisting her.
And yes, Miorine recruited EH forcefully to Gundarm, a company she started for Suletta's sake (not as a whim like the one with Shaddiq) and required staff.
She acted selfishly, but that selfishness wasn't for her benefit. On the other hand, asking Suletta, with demanding girlfriend vibes, to take care of her and staying with her, was for Miorine and only Miorine.

Anime, main story anime? Probably, she's laughing. But in the scooter scene her smile is pretty wide.
If we talk about Miorine's animated smile, I think the biggest one is from red:birthmark. The way it gets bigger and bigger in less than a second.

That said, Miorine's best smile is the one from the Epilogue when she's smiling lovingly at Suletta, best part? Suletta can see that smile compared to the other (very few) ones.

Not what I expected! Page 5 is mostly him talking about how characters who sin normally find atonement through dying, but how he didn't want to do that. Bits about how modern day society can be tough with the slightest mistake meaning you're condemned for life etc. So he wanted the ending to be about forgiveness, like in The Tempest. Also a bit about how Suletta, Miorine made it safely to the end but rather than find salvation from life's difficulties, they ended up shouldering the burdens of the past generations mistakes and have a tough road to walk.
