to be fair, they weren't vaporized by a giant sentient flame. That doesn't mean Jinu can't come back(due to his soul entering Rumis sword), but using his animals as the reason makes no sense.
But we don't even know how "killing" demons work per-se. It might have been just a figure of speech, but one of the girls said to the demons that they are going to send them back where they came from. If it wasn't a figure of speech, then the other 4 boys cold come back too.
But I doubt a movie sequel would have that as focus, that would be too focused-grouped written "The fans like the saya boys, bring them back!" which doesn't feel like this is how the original movie was written
