The music sounds great. I am fucking suffering as a PCfag. Maybe when it gets a pc release I'll have a new pc and I'll be able to enjoy it a 1440p 144 fps max settings, not sure my current one could do it. There's an album releasing this friday with some songs from the game and the different versions of to the wilder. Also Higgs did nothing wrong.

>>712339816
It's everything players ever asked for
>day night cycle
>improved combat
>lots of little things like grabbing cargo with an arm mounted on truck
>dynamic environmental hazards
>potentially dynamic BT zones
I'm not sure about the last one. In the trailer we see BTs emerge during an earthquake, so maybe. Vehicle combat on the highway also looks sick

I think it goes like this

earthquakes/avalanches scripted to trigger in mountains
floods are tied to timefall
fires are started by lightning strikes

There are missions that use them as well like the Kangaroo bushfire rescue or the Neil sequences that are based around disasters.

Some characters in Death Stranding have a body ("ha"), but not a soul ("ka"). Deadman and Mama are good examples.

Pretty cool that it now also works the other way around. It will be interesting to find out how Higgs and his pals pulled it off.

if the rewards are good then i dont see it as tedious like 5* a place you get lvl 3 equipment im all for that the moment it gets boring is when you are not getting rewarded for doing it, likes is just a joke thing imo offline.

>>712347201
my point is, is that DS is a post nuked world you are one man out there with a random few porters going across unhabitable landscape, the whole point of the game is the struggle of getting from A to B, this whole "connection" between players just seems like a easy mode to me and it looks like thats the case for DS2 as to why they are making the world more hostile in every department from BTs, to the weather to actual enviourment, to even wildlife i saw BT bugs at the intro section of the game, my only gripe from everything i saw was the neil fight being identical to the WW2 fight in DS1 even though it looked graphical a step above the previous title

since DS1 was 8 months i can see a December release for Christmas sales which is 7 months from the june release, then a re-release on PS and PC for the directors cut a year or two later i think maybe a year as kojima will probably have his studio focus on the 2 new games he got for sony and microsoft, but then again might get lucky and have that in decemeber as all the DLC stuff isnt much to add when you got 2 base games to work with alongside all the people he is in talks with, like for example i can see more hololive characters since pekora is in as a example and thats a quick thing to add things of that nature i dont see a expansion or anything like that being added its just small director cut things being added i can see

"Poser Hack" as an Insult or Criticism
"Poser" is slang for someone who pretends to be something theyโ€™re notโ€”often used in subcultures (like skateboarding, punk, gaming, etc.).

"Hack" can mean someone who is incompetent or untalented, especially in creative or technical fields (e.g., "a hack writer").

So "poser hack" together could mean:

"Someone who pretends to be skilled or authentic but actually lacks real talent or knowledge."

Example:

"That guy acts like a cybersecurity expert, but heโ€™s just a poser hack."

How does it feel having to wait for a big release like DS2? Seem to be happening more often lately with the last three Final Fantasy games, Stellar Blade and now DS2, not to mention GTA 6. Are you guys that broke or worse, actually believe /v/s whole ''console bad'' thing?

I like to play games at native 1440p/144 fps, or at the very least 100+ fps, all while having graphics to the max with the trash like motion blur etc disabled. DS2 is the only game I've been interested in in years, but I can't justify buying a console for one game no matter how much I love the game. Can't say that I give a shit about other big releases like the ones you mentionned

I will never understand this mentality, why does everything have to be exposed in trailers or gameplay showcases? Can't some or even most elements of a game be a surprise to players so when they play the game they're not just remembering or experiencing something they've already seen/witnessed?

Every game shows something, we still don't have a flat gameplay trailer yet. If I am not mistaken DS1 was the same shit, and I personally believe the game perception suffered because of it.

Yeah. On PS4 and now also on PC.

It is one of the most unique and fun games I've ever played. Only a creative genius like Kojima could turn the concept of delivering packages into a fun game.

Nice. It is great to see that Kojima got a lot more funding from Sony to make DS2 a much more fleshed out game after DS1 almost won GOTY. The development team clearly had to cut a lot of corners in DS1 in order to not go over budget (they did it masterfully though, because DS1 still feels like a full game).
