The character movesets feel much closer to how they first released rather than what's on live servers now. It feels much more like pre-Rise during the first 5 years or so of the game.

Her merc story isn't completely revealed yet since her relationship only goes to level 3, but the story that they introduced before her merc release was that Neamhain got split into two, one is her divine aspect which is the Redeemer boss, and the other is her mortal aspect which is the playable one.

In the original game? You always had it in the form of phoenix feathers/party phoenix feathers Evie also has a revive skill that she can use once every 6 minutes.

Anon, they've reduced the amount required to reforge weapons at least twice. You're probably operating on information from 8 years ago where a single restoration costs a minimum of 12k AP, when reforge attempts nowadays cost 4k Ap at most.
Moreover, once you get your Orna gear to Uaithne AP means doubly fuck all as AP isn't needed to advance their rarity.
The real drain of AP is using it in the wardrobe shop to unlock shit for the rest of the characters in your account, which is tied to being a hopeless gacha addict. If you don't give a shit about emotes or emblems or aren't running a fleet of characters the AP hit from there is inconsequential.

There really isn't anywhere to take gameplay discussion on. The game plays largely similar to first few years of the OG game, and currently is easy enough for veterans to clear within 1-5 tries. People have repeatedly said they wanted the old subweapons, grabs, extra breakoffs, etc but that's where that ends.
I played Fiona extensively for the first few years of the game and playing her again this time just feels like slipping on a cosy pair of old gloves. Except I still muscle memory HSC when it doesn't exist anymore.

So you're even less informed than I thought you are.
The number of fails for a guaranteed success increases each level.
Second, the game showers you with AP from runs compared to how it used to be where running raids all the time will whittle them down to only giving you a meager 10 ap per run. That's why I said you can empty out the AP shop's weekly selection and still be at a positive in regards to your AP.
Third, they flat out hand you equipment at +12, so the requirement for success is only at the last 3 enhancements.
Fourth, they give you "one shot upgrade" runes for +13 AND +14, so the AP is only really needed for the attempt going to +15
Finally, the big gate you'll have for enhancing isn't AP, it's the steels required for reforging.
I've had to do this song and dance getting 3 characters into Uaithne gear. Spending AP isn't the big issue you think it is.
