There's a stark difference between realistic portrayals of romance - from more emotionally based relationship founded romance that you find in CP2077 to the rampant horniness found in BG3. More often than not it's two consenting individuals expressing their desire to have sex. It isn't the selling point and is done as a way to enhance the media by giving realistic human portrayals to its characters. Something that weebs tend to not understand is that this type of consentual sex IS a common expression of human nature. It isn't necessarily meant to be sexy for the viewer (although some people may find it hot), but it is meant to humanize the characters.
Anime sex on the other hand is purely made to tantalize the viewer.
Poking a skimpy nurse anime girl's ass in a gacha game and her going "IIIAAAIIIII KIMOCHIII SUMIMASEN DESU" is not the same thing as two characters having sex in a cutscene.
It isn't a natural expression of human nature from a narrative standpoint, it's entirely distilled marketing for the sake of finding ways to wring money out of horny weeaboos. It's cheap and sleezy.
A strong comparison of these two ideas would be taking Guillaume Geefs' "Le gรฉnie du mal" and comparing it to a $3,000 loli sex doll with a $1,000 vibrating onahole insert.
One of these is a piece intended to tell a story, using sex as a part of its narrative. The artist has masterfully sculpted an idealized male physique, posed in a way to show off his chiselled frame - but the way his posed with various key props around him combined with the devil wings and expression of contempt on his face allows the viewer to explore the meaning of the piece in their mind - while the other is just a shitty plastic doll you're meant to fuck.
