People make liking ENA their personality. So of course they take it way too personally when it gets criticized.
If someone likes Gears of War and someone else says Gears of War is shit, they might be annoyed, but with Dream BBQ its fans really think you're insulting THEM if you say anything bad about it.
I like the shorts and the game but said the one thing I didn't like about it in an ENA thread and holy shit, there was literally a multi hour long melty as a result. And yes I was accused of being "the" villain of their threads even though I liked the game. Apparently the most notorious hater of this game goes around saying "I like it, aside from this one thing" and thread regulars need to spend hours crying about it. I haven't bothered with them since. A shame because the art style and music is so great. I'll keep loving ENA cartoons and look forward to the next chapters, but interacting with the fanbase seems like a waste of time. They're not even discussing anything anyway, they're just on high alert and looking for any excuse to talk about THE HATER.

It's a dream come true really. I posted a very mild criticism in an ENA thread a while back, and "two" guys immediately started schizo posting about me being the resident boogeyman. These guys are the easiest to drive completely insane because from that point on no matter what you post they just triple down on being convinced they've "caught" you. I don't know what the original guy said to piss them off so much but considering how unhinged they are it probably wasn't even that bad.
