I have zero faith in the Invincible game. The characters just don't match up well for a fighting game and the fact that Rex even showed up in the trailer ruins everything in the continuity the moment you will start playing as him against a Viltrumite.

I'm aware you could make a similar claim for any Dragon Ball title with the likes of Mr. Satan, but Invincible is pretty fucking grim enough to be completely bleak in tone to not overlook that sort of thing generally.

Pic related and Dokon will be all i play for another year or so when it releases.

XV has horrible balance, the movement is sluggish, characters still have less moves than 02 UM, and EX moves being standalone just ruins the strategy and balance even more because now every character has a 0.5 bar launcher, invincible reversal or ground/wall bounce

my pie in the sky game is still a actual Final Fantasy 2d 1v1 airdasher. no tagslop no disshittia no eirgays. a real fighting game. and instead of every FF game geting (MC) and (Antagonist) they actually make unique and nuanced picks for the roster. while taking ever thing into account like overal character popularity, archetype representation, unique character abilities, and throw a few "left field" characters so it would give it some extra soul. it could be something like Granblue except with FF characters with plenty of heart and soul packed into it. fun extra game modes and their library of sniffs with plenty of alt costumes to nickel n dime us with. it could be kino. just imagining makes my mouth water. it really is too bad Arc is slowly turning their back on us with capeslop tagkuso. we need a new hero to step up and take advantage of SE's desperation after so many concurrent flops

I mean outside of the handful of all female rosters most fighting games are pretty equal opportunity. I remember all the bearded Ryu thirst posting from roasties on one end and bitching about Chun-li swimsuits on the other in Jive. Grub is just unique in that it has that gacha sexualization (and even then its hardly the most extreme version of it).
UNI2 designs are pretty safe overall. They have a clean look to them that's pretty appealing but its retarded to say its the only game with cute girls.
