I went back and played Warioland 4 on my analog pocket and it holds up really well honestly. the gameboy formula lasted a really long time. we got the DS+3DS which had some really good titles but it was looking more and more like handhelds would just go away. they tried their best to experiment with social ideas to make it worth carrying around a 3DS but the writing was on the wall largely.
most parents now as early as 6 park their kids in front of a kid friendly amazon tablet/device and call it a day because the world has gone fucking insane.
