Gamefreak released the trailer for Beast of Reincarnation and the trailer shows frequent FPS dips. Sometimes it looks like it gets to single digits.

Why did Gamefreak think this was OK?

This is not me defending them, but they are literally just learning how to use Unreal Engine because of this game.

How? they are the ones using the same propietary engine since the 3DS to make their games, they are the ones holding themselves back. Reminder that it was Nintendo the one that apologized because of their SV release, they didn't step up to acknowledge their incompetence. The teraleak made it clear that they handle their own management and decision making and that Nintendo doesn't step in.

why should I shut up if the ones using a lame engine is Game Freak? They could've moved all their assets to another engine, like ILCA did with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remakes and make the whole system works. Unity runs their game at 60 FPS no issue on the switch if they wanted but they didn't let it work on stock firmware. There's no need for overlock or whatever even. The point of my comment is that their lame engine sucks and they keep using it.
