With a bow, you have to get used to how it draws and figure out how to shoot it effectively.

I know that English longbowmen actually had fucked up spines and shoulders that were bent into shape to properly use the high power longbows of that era. I'm not downplaying your strength, these fucks are heavy. But the power of the arrow is limited by the power of the bow and that is not something a stronger archer can overcome. There's other benefits of strength obviously, nocking more arrows and stamina, but I'm saying bows need strength to be used and failing to bend the bow to its fullest intended extent means it is underperforming its potential.
Compare it to crossbows. They have all the strength, maybe even more, but it's made easier with tools and the tension mechanically stored. Once you bring the string back to its intended position of full power, all you can do is good shot placement, the same as a bow.

Crossbows use tools to make it so they're not rowing 120 pounds. Some have crows feet for deadlifting the string. I like a good windlass pulley. But the final mechanic is the same, YOU aren't sending the projectile down range, the BOW is, and YOU are just applying strength to the bow in order to make it do that.
