I actually did attempt to play this game and Taash was the most obnoxious character and really made the game worse than it already was. You don't have to use her in your party, but in some missions/segments you do, which sucks. I mean, none of the characters were good but Taash wasn't even tolerable.

I had drop like 60% or 70% of the way through. I'm not sure how far I was, but it felt like I was at least over halfway.

Back in the 90s and 00s many games (and films and tv shows) had bad, amateurish writing. But stuff like that, the stuff I saw in ME Andromeda, DA Inquisition and DA Veilguard, it's just ... weird. It's like they try to emulate Joss Whedon, which is already a tired trope, and they lack talent for that, and on top of that, any sense of humor. Like, the result is so milkuetoast you cannot help but cringe. And what's worse it's like those writers lack any real life experiences outside of a college dormitory.
