Crafting weapons just unlock the weapon skin.
Enhancing the weapon just adds to your passive weapon buff. You ideally want to craft and enhance all weapons to get max benefit.

The only S2 boss that MIGHT not have had a clash was Iset, but the Havan fight still has one.

I feel like it would solve a few of the problems with the current design. The encounter design, while it has its problems, is a lot better than old Vindictus. Ranged enemies actually deal some damage once in a while and melee enemies all have a charge attack that lets them get a hit in before getting stunlocked and blended if you're not careful. Considering this is the tutorial level and the level after, it's a fair challenge. However, none of this matters because there's a bonfire right before the boss. Chip damage is completely inconsequential. It almost begs the question, "why even have these enemies before the boss?"
