I have 2 questions about remaking
1. Can I remake the gathering armor somehow to get gathering bonus on both slots? or will I just lose the bonus and get 2 regular things like hp+?
2. If I age an equipment and then remake it, does it keep the age bonus?

not an expert, but when you remake something that has bonuses, you get a selection of the 2 bonuses it originally had, and 2 more bonuses. these are listed on the left (after you succeed in making it), and you choose 2 of the 4 to move to the right for the finished product. i've remade things 4 times in a row before without getting something better, and just kept the same 2 i originally had.

i think aging is completely separate and it will persist through remaking (havent done it myself). if you want to try for a new aged bonus, you have to rebury it. not sure if you get a choice, or if it just hard rerolls a new thing for you.

Raining today. Need to water shadow carrots for rank up. Game just lets me water them over and over for requirement. Went from 9 to 27 on the one patch, though I had to do it several times instead of only twice.

The fishing life is the only life i've failed at so far.
Like, I was level 55 fishing, best rod top quality that was available to make.
And a level 60 rocket fish spawned in gino, and that thing fucking kicked my ass
