Well in that case I personally liked the beginning of part 2 with Asa and Yoru as the protagonist, it started relatively strong at least because of their characterization. But as it's gone on it mostly feels way too slow and meandering to read live. Like not enough happens and it's overly drawn out, and what does happen largely doesn't feel all that interesting except for a few peak moments (honestly usually involving Asa and Yoru, I do not really give a fuck about Denji at this point which is largely owed to what could be called Flanderization or negative character growth by some).

Girl character designs are still consistently fucking hot though.

It feels like he's throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks and changing directions midway when he gets bored with one plot a lot of the time. Maybe it reads better if you read it in chunks of volumes but I didn't have this issue when I read Part 1 when it first dropped.

Makima is my angel and my goddess and I'll always love her more than anyone. But I'll also never see her again (honestly might be the best considering Fujimotors current state). AsaYoru is appealing to me and the closest to remotely approach Makima's lovableness and status in my mind. Her duality is nice Yoru's dommy and sluttier but also compeltely pon and kind of retarded childlike personality mixed with Asa's cynical femcel and love/sex shy trepidation. Asa is also a "normal" girl and ultimately approachable in that way. She's not alien and unknowable like a devil is in a lot of ways.

P.S. It's my firm belief Asa herself is a closet gooner dirty pervert no one who isn't talks about sex in these kinds of terms except people who fetishize the filthy intimacy of the acts she's describing. Which is also why she's not violently opposed to the handjob and kissing and Yoru's sex promises like all the tranny redditors insist she must be, saying she's a rape victim.
