What's taking so long with indie games to finish these days? There's some indie pixelshit on my Steam wishlist that I added back in 2018 that still don't have so much as a release year in sight.
I understand the games that regular working people are making as a hobby on the side, but shit like Deltarune and Silksong are worked on full time by professional dev teams.

making a shitty kids book like harry "dullest franchise" potter is unironically a joke compared to an rpg that not only has about as many words but also needs visuals, music, gameplay, and has to be programmed for multiple consoles instead of just being writing the finished version once and printing it thousands of times
