mods don't actually care about either of those if it's a topic they like
the rules are just a facade for shit that personally angers the mods, if you make a thread about something they like they don't care, if you make a request for something they like they don't care, even rules like "no off topic" "no racism" "no trolling" are fake meaningless rules that they only use as an excuse when they personally dislike what you post about, otherwise it doesn't apply

I wouldn't even mind the general rule that much if any effort at all was put into cleaning up the general threads, but people can shitpost in them and ruin the thread for months without ever getting banned. 1 single post can ruin entire generals and make them unusable for everyone else and jannies will just watch.
