I feel kinda bad blogposting, but I am about to go into surgery, 4chan and especially /v/ has been a huge part of my life for the better part of my life, and I've learned to hate and love every singe one of you fuckers, I wish I had a deck for the recovery but it sucks being a poorfag.
I love you guys so much, keep on enjoying games for me. Or at least fighting about them.
Also, any good game suggestions for a mid-tier android phone? It can run games up to vice city stories but playing that with on screen controls is a huge pain in the ass.

Emulate. Phones have been able to emulate acceptably for a while, and there's many great and/or interesting games that don't require precise input.

If I were in your situation, I'd probably play turn based games. JRPGs, strategy games, that kind of stuff. I'd probably play some Advance Wars or something.

i feel like after surgery i'd probably want something pretty mindless like tetris or lumines. starfox might be good. there's a bunch of android rhythym games that might be good but the only game i've played on my phone is dragon quest walk

Touch controls are definitely annoying but the lack of precision isn't too bad for turn-based games or VNs. Go emulate Etrian Odyssey 3 for me but really you should grab whatever seems interesting to you and take the time to try out some new things.

If you don't have a controller I recommend pokemon ROM hacks. DS and PSP games generally do better on than trying to play games intended for a controller.
You also can go back and hit the JRPG classics like chrono trigger, ff1 or earthbound.
