There's a lot of stuff they've done under the hood to also improve the tech, for example the gyro and accelerator now work in tandem to prevent joycon motion drift.
You know how you have to keep 'recentering' the joycon/motion controls by pressing Y for games like Splatoon or the port of Super Mario Galaxy? That's significantly better to the point of being a non-issue on the Switch 2.
Not defending $80 games though, the only possible defense anyone could even have is that if MKW doesn't do microtransactions and season passes like every other $70 game and still gets consistent updates then you could kinda view it favorably, but really you should get the bundle if you can.
I bought the bundle while on vacation in a state with no sales tax (US) and I honestly think $500 flat was a pretty good price for everything I got.
