You farm and craft, but you have put your items in your store to sell to customers. They have their own tastes and stuff, prices can rise or drop based on seasons and how other communities outside your own is doing. You can own and operate different stores in town and expand them or branch off into different business practices like animal husbandry and fishing and buy property to build your stuff at.

You can do dungeons to get materials and have to ensure your resources are protected from bandits and other buyers. Or you can sell it.
