I gotta say that this game has gotten remarkably close at having the RPG menu'ing and bullet hell battle system. The 3-party cap is good, the TP system is simple but excellent, rewarding skillful and risky play, shining especially in harder fights like Jevil's and Knight's.

Right now, it's really missing a bit more leeway for player expression like being able to determine your party order for battles, Ralsei not being deadweight and giving him more shit to do like buffs/debuffs or unique ways of gaining TP aside from defending, using soul modes outside of their dedicated bosses, etc.

Cuz as I replay this game from Ch 1 to 4 I cant help but feel how samey the typical strategy on an enemy-by-enemy basis is, with minimal expression in terms of battling. I know this kinda game is moreso tailored around telling a narrative more than being a game to master so alot of this prolly gonna fall on deaf ears but i dunno, it was a reoccurring thought as I replay this game when looking for secrets.
