It does but it's pure shit. In no small part because they don't know who the protagonist is meant to be. They've gradually accepted it's Morrigan but no one really knows what to do with that, so we got the Lilith shit and then they just gave up entirely. That being said Capcom has never been good at Fighting game stories. Street Fighter has been stuck in Ryu going 'CAN I AT LAST OVER-COME THE SATSUI NO HADO AND DEFEAT AKUMA ONCE AND FOR ALL...?' for a generation.

It's possible we'll get another horrible cartoon, Netflix is still a thing. However the current thing seems to be horrible live action movies, I'm hoping that the LoZ movie will be an incredible shitshow that'll be watchable for decades to come just like the real Mario movie.

Morrigan seems like a cool character to me even if I don't know her well. The fact that she chooses to beat the shit out of people instead of getting life force from fucking everyone in sight is a cool twist on the Succubus.

Huh, some of this is actually interesting in its premise, but the execution is so-so.
If MVCI's had been an UMVC3 DLC I might have not skipped it.
Also since Marvel is going to ASW for their fighting game now, I hope Capcom retools any staff or work for MVC4 to make a Capcom crossover that revives Darkstalkers interest.
