Comic shit is barely canon, Shadow Generations made it explicitly clear Shadow could have easily stomped Sonic due to Doom Powers and opted not too to not be a cheating faggot, and Forces had to time warp his ass to stop him from winning in Sonic's place while Silver was just useless with no explanation.

Shadow STILL had one chaos emerald and used it during the fight. I know sonic had more but it does not seem like he even uses them outside of sonic super stars. How he was able to STOP TIME and still lose is beyond me though.

Also it was very clear Sonic couldn't beat infinite alone he needed help all the way to the end. I honestly doubt shadow could have won as he really wouldn't let anyone help him.

He's still pretty baller in Battle.
And at least they've let him keep a super form in modern stuff, Knuckles and Tails didn't even get that in Heroes even if the "classic-verse" permits it.
It's not like they need it, but Silver and Blaze have theirs even with all their abilities so it's still a snub.

The Sonic crew all get stronger over time and Shadow has an organ to generate chaos energy to mirror Sonic's wind powers. He can do a short teleport called Chaos Snap alongside a basic spear without an emerald.

Sonic Adventure 2. Rouge and Shadow talking privately in the Eclipse Cannon control room has her holding a paper on Project Shadow and it mentions that the Bio-Lizard's organ to generate Chaos Emergy is working. Shadow is the final product and has innate Chaos Powers so he must also habe such an organ.

Knuckles' and Tails super forms were always lamer than Sonic's anyway. Knuckles just glows. Tails just has a bunch of birds. Neither are capable of sustained flight.
You know how everyone seems to believe that Super Knuckles is pink? Pure fanon. He's red. He just glows. At his brightest point, he looks pink, but that's just due to the light he emits. It'd be like saying Super Sonic is white due to being white at his brightest point.
