Stellar Blade /vg/?
Genuine question because I'm *kinda* new to this site. And not sure if I'm allowed to ask here (mods if you're going to delete this please don't ban me :c). But are there any particular rules on creating a /vg/ thread? People might be getting sick of the x5 SB threads in here and I'd like a place to go to so I can talk about the game.

Thanks anons :)

a /vg/ thread would be a repository of information with lots of links. It's not really big enough to warrant it's own thread.

Aww that's a shame

I see lots of generals in there for single player games.

Oh well, guess I need to stick to /v/ threads instead then.

I wouldn't mind it and at the launch of the PC version, it might work out. /vg/ threads can go for a while before getting bumped off, but people have to be there 24/7.

I'm reminded of Nioh generals on /vg/. They tried it, but it didn't last all that long. There just weren't enough people enough of the time to keep it bumped.

Even if a /vg/ was set up, Stellar Blade is going to be the topic of discussion on /v/ for a while because of Steam Chart threads and its place in the culture war fight. That's naturally going to pull a lot of eyes and posts to /v/. At least for a week or two or more depending on how high the number gets.

Also, a lot of Stellar Blades are full of shitposting. If we had one good SB thread up on /v/ while the rest were shitposting, eh.

But you can try. Someone has tried once already to make a Stellar Blade general on /vg/. I think we lasted like a day.

Nier has a general on /vg/. It's like 20 day sold. Someone keeps it bumped, which is fine. But there has to be at least a few people that cover all 24 hours keeping it bumped to be a useful place for people to go.

generals stick around for years and years. roughly 190 slots kept bumped at all times, some by as few as 2 people for months on end. Hell, even the minecraft general is dead. This is a /v/ game because this thread won't be repeated and lurked by the same people keeping it bumped until the limit for a decade. There's no culture, nothing to sink your teeth into. if anything, there will be stellar blade diffusion threads on /aco/ or something in a few years if it's good for making porn.

I remember that I created one for Valkyria Chronicles years ago, and it was archived without a single reply.
You can try because I do not see bans for when people accidentally post regular threads in /vg/.
Also, even if you are only *kinda* new, welcome to 4chan, anon!

That happened for me once a few years ago, I think it was three days.

newly released games don't have the /vg/ treatment
