Could be possible. I loved the original Death Stranding. I've been replaying Death Stranding for the first time since launch. First time playing the director's cut. I have no idea what was added yet as I'm still very early in the game, but it's been so long that I really only remember the big twists and broad beats so if the added stuff is just new memory cards and what not I doubt I'll be able to figure out what is new and what is old.

I hope that DS2 holds up to the experience of the first game. I may enjoy it more that 33, but we'll see. I doubt that Kojima's just going to shit the bed. At the very least the game should be compelling.

DS is good if you can get past the initial hours of being constantly interrupted by Codecs. And you like virtual hiking. It's a unique game.

DS is a faux multiplayer game. If you enable the online components you can get gear, warnings, dropped cargo, and all manner of other things from players, but you never directly connect with them. The game is lonely, but that is it's intent. The multiplayer elements let you know there are other porters out there "keep on keeping on".

Impossible to say. DS is unapologetic about what it is and it isn't for everyone. If you vibe with its gameplay you'll have a good time, others didn't like it at all. The plot and characters are wacky and all that as you'd expect but the gameplay aspect is pretty unique and not really like any other game out there. It takes stuff you normally take for granted in games, traversal and inventory, and makes a game out of them. .

Worth playing for sure, whether it works for you or not. If it does it's a very interesting experience.

So shareholders think that every new game needs to have the best DRM to maximize the value of the shares and dividends. No. The first half of the game is an ultra kino expedition into an unknown, magical alien continent, watching the remains of the expeditions who fought tooth and nail, down to their very last breath to pave a way for you. Renoir (both real and painted) is the best written character in the game. He conveys emotion and profound depth without relying on crutches or furtive means. Honest, direct, soulful. That's good writing. Aragorn comforting Boromir. Gustave also had some very good moments due to his earnestness and courage permeating his speech.

Metroid Prime 4 has been in dev hell for so long it might be a mess, and we have seen very little gameplay. If it's overall more like Prime 1 and 2 then it's got a chance.

Just finished E33. Everything after Act 1 except the soundtrack was just bad. I understand the hype if you compare the game to the absolute dogshit the industry produces, but in a vacuum it's a 6/10.
It baits a mature and nuanced story just to deliver some petty family drama and the gameplay gets hindered by having a damage cap up until Act 3, which has to be the dumbest design choice in vidya history.
Old Lumiére was the braking point for me. That cinematic single-handedly killed every expectation I had for the game.
