Dunno about SM2, but in SM1 the game was designed about not taking cover because you were a human weapon in heavy armor.

SM1 was better about it but 2 you absolutely feel like a fragile piece of porcelain that needs to be constantly executing to heal. Ranged enemies are so present and powerful that on higher difficulties you'll catch yourself standing awkwardly behind objects like some kind of pervert even without a cover button, while you wait for the sniper to get around to taking them.

I doubt that will even make it in considering they cut back on most of the previous list with their jump towards infantry gameplay. I just hope that the catalog didn't get entirely gutted because there was a really nice selection to choose from in the first game. War tractors, tread bikes, power armor and flying hotrods kitted out with LMG and war crime launchers.
Since there is no more three way between the NEP, Spacers and Corvids I wonder how they are going to fill that void in since the next game takes place on a corpo owned pleasure world.
