You can do 2 missions from Nikke DLC now, they're short shooting segments that gives you 4 coins to buy 4 of the cosmetic items from the shop. It is worth doing now to get the cute beret hats, the actual outfits and other hairs are kinda bad honestly.
Nier I don't remember how many lunar tears are in Wasteland, but you can get at least some items from that too if you want.

About 30 hours. If you dont care about costumes, the game has a boss challenge mode where you can just keep refighting bosses.

I think it took me 30-35 hours to beat it the first time, and that’s with doing all the side missions and hunting down all the outfits and hidden cans. There’s NG+ which opens up new upgrades on the skill tree and almost every outfit(provided you found it already in a play through) gets replaced with a color swap version. Apparently there’s even more variants on NG++ and beyond with this latest update. Also there’s three endings depending on a choice you make at the end game and also if you completed a major side objective earlier in the game, so you get at least three play throughs out of it generally

Nah, the sidequest that the Lily Meter unlocks is the trigger. You can do 100% of sidequests if you want and max the meter, so long as you don't actually go to the special area she unlocks.

Honestly never even understood the parry mechanic to begin with. I've never done sword fighting so I have no idea what physical skill or phenomenon it is supposed to map to. And I imagine most devs don't either. Like with a shield it's very obvious that the act of engaging the shield should create the effect of being more protected from attacks, and shooting a bullet will cause damage when it hits. But I don't even know what a parry actually even is to begin with.

Parrying is basically “skill based defense”. You can hold to block but usually this has some sort of negative effect like maybe still causing you to take damage at a lesser rate, taking temporary damage that you can heal by counterattacking or eventually having your block broken leaving you open

Parrying negates all damage and usually has some other effect like staggering the enemy or breaking their weapon if you parry them enough. The downside is that if you fuck up you take the full brunt of the attack. So you either turtle behind standard blocking and face the downsides, or parry the attacks for greater reward with greater risk

He takes her to one of the last bastion of humanity and helps her in her journey. In the end, it turns out the naytibas were humans, who’ve undergone mutations but the original human dna is still in there. Adam is the original Naytiba and he wants Eve to save humanity by combining with him. He posses humanity’s DNA and she possesses humanity’s body. You choose whether to side with him and become perfect before flying back into space to destroy the space station who just wants to wipe out all of Earth, or you kill Adam and fulfill your mission. Two endings.

For me it's enemies with delayed attacks. They always bait me to parry to early and get hit. At least with enemies with wombo combo you kinda just match their speed. Some enemies will intentionally lift up about to strike you, hold for a second, then finally hit you. Then while you're surprised they immediately follow up with a fast jab or swing when you're expecting another slow wind up.

Mother Sphere is the one who made the Androids both on Earth and the unique ones like Eve, humanity went underground when she went AWOL and mutated themselves desperately into what are now called Naytibas to survive. Her motives are not actually explained in this game, but there's an implication that it isn't specifically defeating the humans anymore since she's also the one sending the potential partners for Adam.
The Naytibas hating Mother Sphere is what drives them, which is why there's thousands fusing together in complete agony and slowly reaching towards the Mother Sphere by intertwining with the space elevator. It's one of the neatest plot details about the game that Eve never actually develops a hatred for the Naytibas in return and actually empathized with them.
