I used to love single player campaigns in rtses
Are the new ones any good like Tempest rising, age of mythology retold new campaign, victors and vanquished?

Company of Heroes 1's main campaign is pretty legendary if you havent played that yet.
its expansion's campaigns are shorter but are pretty cool too.

different anon but how do I git gud at TAB?
Ive prob sunk like 30 hours into it and I still cant beat the first map.
I did a little of the campaign mode but got bored during the boring simcity one where you have to hit 800pop.

>how do I git gud at TAB?
research wooden spikes for the first wave, kite the zombies onto spikes with an archer to kill them
have ballistas up at every chokepoint by the second
use walls

It's great when you ignore the terrible hero and wave missions

good idea on the wooden spikes.
i do the other shit though.
best run I had, I had trouble clearing the map before the game ends, so I get so much shit.
Before that I think its I dont expand quick enough, but I'm always short of some resource so I'm usually stuck just waiting around for them to build up.

yeah expanding your economy is the hardest part of the game, you need to be expanding, but timing your expansions right so that everything is defended before the next wave
get to the point where you can have two barracks constantly producing snipers, make a big sniper ball to clear the map with
on later missions you want to get titan production going near the end of the game too

every single modern rts is just a long tutorial where every level is the introduction of a new unit and how to use it.

Yeah I feel like it pushes you into wasting a lot of resources building and upgrading guard towers in every zone and unit micro gets too sweaty in the last mission or 2. Completely agree
