Taiwan is +8
Japan is +9
Korea is +9
SEA is +6 to +8

US is -5 to -8

Europe is 0 to +2


We see a very rapid climb to 100k players at American/European post work hours. This is very early morning for Asia so doubt anyone really playing it much there, if they are they go to work in an hour.

So about 100k of these are American and European for sure. Then the Europeans go to work and sleep.

The we see a gigantic rise in players to 180k around Asia post work times. At this time American at work, Europeans just finishing work and Asians are going to sleep.

Then you have the massive drop at 22 UTC when most Europeans went to sleep, most Chinese are finishing sleep, most Americans are finishing work. And then as Americas come home from work you see a rise to again to 88k and you'll probably see a spike in a few hours as the Chinese finished work.

You know the thing about sales rankings is that it's based on how much a game is selling at this exact moment so it tends to shift from time to time. Stellar Blades' case, it's a domino effect where even if you accuse it's chinks propping it up, you will see people from other regions buying it and playing because it has a high player count and an overwhelmingly positive review. If even half of those players stick around and actually like the game, it still inflates the total sales for the game. At least this is my understanding on how it works on steam since data is readily available there and you can view in real time what games are trending
