i.e. if the enemy adC is a cone or their botlane has a cone (twitch, senna, kog'maw) pick maokai, blitzcrank, nautilus, leona
If there's a lot of engage pick alistar, taric, rell.

She has 2 stuns and a MS tool on her kit, also highly mobile
>At the start of the game, determine if a lvl 2 engage is in your favor (playing as a tank, most of the time it is)
>Don't be afraid to burn flash, as a tank support you have many tools to engage and disengage without relying on it
>Warding is your top 1 priority
>Make sure to have awareness of the enemy jungler current location and deep ward their jungle when you have the chance
>40 seconds before grubs or drake, NOTIFY the adC and the jungler that you're rotating towards them
>Of course, the state of the game will determine if you actually want to do so
For example, you're already winning lane? no problem, tell your adC to play passive and make sure to leave at least one ward for them so they can be ready for a dive
You're losing lane? sometimes it is better to stay, remember adCs are an extremely fragile species and will break easily

For example, your toplaner has 3 kills at 10 minutes? Is he playing Gwen, Fiora or Irelia? carry
Is your jungler ahead and constantly (and succesfully) invading the enemy jungler? carry
Is the midlaner rotating constantly and getting kills while the enemy midlaner stays under their tower? carry
Is your adC not imploding at the sight of a single mistake? possible carry, be careful though

This way they won't get collapsed and die to a 1v2 or 1v3
