I'm actually getting pretty sick of rogue likes. I just wanna play a game, roll credits and move on. Not play it forever. Returnal, for example it's pissing me off because i have to keep slogging through every previous area just to try a boss again. It just feels like a fromsoft run back on steroids and kills all momentum I have for an otherwise gorgeous and fun game.

It makes sense that Aunt Bessies child is likely going to be murdered in the 1 year time skip if you don't complete the kidnapping quest.
