Why would they bother, they’re making money hand over fist with GAAS on PS5 and the Switch 2 just cemented they have no competition in graphics or performance from other consoles for another decade at least.

That video shows exactly the hardware situation.
The PS4 hard drive, dogshit CPU and small memory makes it inferior to the switch, and the SeS tiny memory was a mistake, but it still has a better CPU.

But what i was not expecting is how fucking terrible the hard drive situation is on cyberpunk 2077.
I was under the impression devs scaled down stuff to fit on the PS4 slowass storage, but CP2077 is probably too much for it.

That's what that Zelda demo looks to be doing, Witcher 3 is pretty primtive tech-wise.

I've been playing CP2077 around 15 hours now on Switch 2, around lvl 25. Never had any issues. Just the normal buggy CP2077, people still go under the floor or ground sometimes.

The reflection is just an ol planar reflection, ambient occlusion is all painted in (if you see on the rocks behind there's no ambient occlusion at all), and in terms of shaders is just normal map and specular.
There is depth shadows as well, but other than that, it's just not a big deal at all.

By what i seem on the video, ideally, they can increase the crowd density of the base game, and should decrease the crowd density of phantom liberty, as it is hammering the CPU hard.
Base game settings is made for a CPU with half of the speed and phantom liberty is made for a CPU with twice the speed.
