Switch owners couldn't handle them. Skyward Sword barely sold, proving modern tendies can't into dungeons.

From what has been suggested through various leaks, I'm convinced Nintendo has these mostly ready to go for the Switch and/or Switch 2, but are saving them for a rainy day to placate Zelda fans when there is a content drought. Either that or they will bring them to NSO.

SS was one of the least accessible and least popular Zelda games. Poor sales has less to do with the classic Zelda formula and more to the fact that it's Skyward Sword.

Because they have to release OoT and MM HD for Switch 2 first.
