Imagine not gaming with DLSS. How can you even stand it?

Good god, imagine the latency going from 28 fps to 240+ frame gen. I canโ€™t imagine turning it on without 90+ natural frames.

The video is a bit deceptive. It's not 28 rendered frames to 242. It's 28 before upscaling, after upscaling it's more like 60. Then those 60 are multiplied 4x with MFG, and MFG 4x doesn't really have that much of a latency increase compared to 2x or 3x. So the latency wouldn't be like 28fps, it would feel more like 50-60fps.

If a game can't perform well on my 4070 natively I'm just not gonna buy it. I don't reward lazy retard devs.

lads, shitposting about DLSS aside, how do we feel about DLAA? where does it rank among TAA, FXAA, SSAA, and MSAA?

DLSS is an AI bullshit engine.
All forms of TAA work by deforming the last frame to look like the current frame so you can accumulate shit like extra pixels or extra sub pixels or shadow samples, or raytraced light or..
However, if last frame had the mother's of OPs ass taking half of the screen and the current one don't, everything behind his mother's ass need to come from SOMEWHERE, and not just the current frame as it would look blocky, noisy and fucked.
So DLSS invent SOMETHING to be there.

DLSS is better than TAA because it is TAA, but with AI shit to do a better job.
Now against more common stable non-motion solutions depends on the game etc..

DLAA is literally just DLSS but with input resolution set to 100% instead of 1-99%, there is no difference other than number of input pixels.
That being said as of the newest DLSS4 update it's genuinely great tech, as long as it's not a bad game implementation like AC Shadows.
>where does it rank among TAA, FXAA, SSAA, and MSAA?
Instantly better than FXAA, SMAA and TAA. MSAA looks sharper but doesn't fix aliasing in deferred rendering, and has a hefty performance cost. SSAA is the best in terms of image quality but is as expensive as gaytracing. If you're looking for a balance between image quality and FPS, go for DLSS. Or SSAA + DLSS to be extra sure.

No, absolutely not. Frame interpolation is fundamentally completely retarded.

You are retarded because you don't know the difference between image reconstruction and frame generation, yet you comment on topics like an expert.

It's good. Sharper than native and has zero aliasing. Even if there were the occasional artifact I could forgive it.

In this is not THAT bad, specially with the mitigation strats.
But in my opinion, the two worst problems is that it only works on game that support it, and most importantly
Every other frame is pic related.
