I find it strange From gets so much hate here when we had a veilgaurd thread yesterday where people actually defended EA. It's so fucking weird.

The hate comes from people thinking that something "hard" gives them some sort of cred. Played and beat Bloodborne, it isn't "hard". Rom the spider is three phases, the initial phase, the secondary phase, with the thire phase reverting back to the timing of first phase. It is due to this entitlement and both their fans and detractors calling the action genre "soulslike" that people hate fromsoft. Fromsoft titles have more in common with survival horror than than action RPGs due to limited resources, aesthetic, and imposing bosses. But for some strange reason some journo touted it as "hard" because he thought it was an action rpg.
