>>712557482 You'd be the majority. Main people who buy steam deck have big steam libraries. If one wants one for other reasons there are other options better suited.
>>712556728 Me either outside of retroarch, and I only played Symphony of the night, castlevania 64, and megaman X3 and X4. There are too many good pc games for me to want to play nintendo shit when I already own a switch. As much as I like mystery dungeon red & blue remake im not going to download it on my deck when I can play explorers of time/darkness/sky.
the deck is too weak to run current gen games they shill it as a pc with your entire steam library but every time you see them playing just a few indies or emulating old games because that's all they can run
>>712560054 digital foundry has turned into such a joke. you can very easily get 30-50 fps consistently in SH2 with the deck and the game itself is just poorly optimized considering it dips to 40 on the PS5 (at least it did at launch, really doubt they've updated the performance lmao).
>>712560054 You mean the obviously limited handheld pc is struggling to run obviously overbloated and over budget games that came out after it? Whomst would have thought that could happen. Oh yeah everyone that owns it, which it doesnt matter to most of them because it plays literally almost every game that came out before it perfectly fine. You could buy games from 2021 to 1996 only and still not run out of new stuff to play for over a decade and it wont cost you half your mutt wages to buy games but nice try you disingenuous faggot Also >digital cuckolds

>>712580596 >>712582137 It's not an apples to apples comparison, since SoC's aren't directly comparable. You have to run a suite of video game tests to get an effective benchmark, not to mention that the DLSS on the Switch 2 performs much better than FSR in terms of visual clarity and iirc better in terms of performance anyway, which reflects the more mature tensorcore architecture.
TFLOPs and synthetic tests don't give you a realistic sense of how good a machine actually is at running video game software. The Deck itself fails a lot of these tests compared to its common points of comparison but delivers a very respectable performance in a lot of games nonetheless.
