Depends on what you find fun. I like mage because it has a more versatile toolkit that doesn't simply involve dealing damage. There's almost never a situation where you would not want a mage.

Druid, mage, rogue. Any of these classes are ten times more fun, than other classes, just because they got flavour shit, like travel form, aquatic form, moonglade, teleports, food conjuration, poisons, pick locking.

Best class for almost all solo content and farming. Only being beat by hunter in certain areas. Major contributor in all forms of pvp. Most boring for raids though.

The only useful thing is you can conjuror water and food but it's not really fun. I like Warrior for the weapons with unique perks.

Hard to play imo, such a glass cannon. If you screw up your escape options you're fucked.

I spent a good 5 months playing classic wow on their anniversary server from scratch. It’s fun as fuck, you meet people organically and get to spend as long as you like learning and chilling with some new friends in a great game. I cannot recommend it enough. That being said eventually you do get satisfied or finished with it and that’s okay

For me its rogue leveling-fun
because you always trying to cheat your way in by stealthing through areas and its always keeps your anus ring tight, one wrong move and its joever (when vanish is on cd)
but only if you like stealth missions in general, I think wow's stealth quests are awesome

Solo leveling is all I do in Classic WoW. The most fun I had was with mage, shaman, and hunter. Least fun was warrior and rogue.

Mage only shines in Solo levelling content for aggroing huge crowds of mobs and blasting them with blizzard/flamestrike.
Plus having multiple get out of jail free cards with Ice Block/Blink/Polymorph etc.
They're like if Paladins actually did damage.

But in terms of TRUE solo superiority, Hunter is absolute king

>Strong aoe even if it isnt quite as powerful as mages
>Your own personal tank with you at all times taking all the heat that you can heal basically for free

Hunters are the king of surviving the world on their own. Thats why they pay for that ability with having to feed their pets and gather ammunition for their ranged weapon as a tradeoff

Yep. I also wrecked warlocks, but if they're good the curses can destroy me in the process. Basically a time limit to take down the target asap before too many Dots. I think I had the most trouble with warriors overall in vanilla. That said, arcane armored kamikaze mages in 24hr+ alterac valley were entertaining to watch.
