It's an old reference, back in the day on torrent searches like on Limewire or others, the song was incorrectly labelled as being by System of a Down, I guess because whoever first uploaded it thought it sounded like somewhat like Tankian's distinctive voice. I don't think it really sounds THAT much like him or matches System's kind of instrumentals, but it was common to see mislabeling on torrent networks. A lot of parody songs were labelled as being by Weird Al Yankovich, including ones that were not remotely his style of humor with loads of vulgar lines. Or some melodic death metal covers of The Final Countdown being labelled as being by Children of Bodom, who had never covered that song, that was common too.
