Let's be honest, once you've finished Elwynn, Westfall, Redridge and Duskwood, you've seen almost everything that WoW has to offer.

It was definitely the best put together experience and probably the entire reason the game got big.
I remember Night Elves used to make a run through the Wetlands because their starting area was so shit.

Nah, Nelf areas were good, the problem was Blizzard just never finished Darnassus and the whole nelf area was just so physically isolated from the rest of the Alliance that nobody would want to make the reverse journey to go to the nelf areas. OG Darn didn't even have a blacksmithing, engineering, or warlock trainer at all, and the only auction house was in IF.

i understand the lore but that doesn't change the fact that the city was straight-up missing key features that every other city had. Darnassus had a human NPC hanging out to be the portal trainer, but they couldn't justify a second one to be the mage trainer? the capital city of the night elves can't import ore from the mainland, even when the huntresses patrolling the area are wearing metal armor and wielding metal weapons? the warlocks couldn't have holed up in some basement to avoid drawing attention? all the lore justifications for why Darn didn't have these things are flimsy at best. the fact is that Darnassus was just an unfinished city.

On the flip side late game zones for alliance suck cock and are unfinished, if you do all the quests you'll have a gaping hole between 44-48 or so where you would want ideally to grind while horde has perfectly done zones such as Feralas, Swamp, 1k needles, felwood, dustwallow, desolace and so on. It's like blizz gave up halfway for alliance

this is what outs the OP video as being a tbc/wrath baby that played with heavily nerfed exp requirements
In actual vanilla, doing your race's starter zone would only get you to level 10, maybe level 11 if you grinded a lot of mobs. Trying to go to westfall at level 11, there's only a couple of quests you can even do before they get too high level; you're forced to pingpong back and forth between other zones unless you want to mindlessly mob grind.

I stayed in each area as much as possible. I remember entering Stranglethorn around 30 and the area with the portal up until level 50, which I think is the required level for the quest that lets you enter the portal. Only places I didn't do completely were the Outland ones because you used to reach the required level for Northrend wich is 60 or so way before finishing them.

Though don't blame me if I do, that stuff was literally over 10 years ago.

You were lucky to get more than 1 level from the zones after STV and you started running into the same enemy types as the level 10-20 zones, but slightly bigger

Dustwallow has lore related quests for horde, identifying the brood for example introduces Onyxia to horde players. Alliance equivalent cant remember the name but it ends on the kings chamber. There are lots of quests as horde, most fun probably stealing or distributing Theramore propaganda letters straight from the ship in Theramore. Its seriously pretty underrated by horde. If you get a chance to do it on private server or are still playing classic go give it a shot

You just have way more quests that actually use the entire zone instead of having 2-3 quests in the whole area and just skip the rest
Like the same Feralas as horde actually has things to do in the whole location, meanwhile as ally you only have few spots, ogres, yetis and some nagas.
Same applies for other areas like dustwallow. horde has quests in the whole area including dragons in the south

correct, night evles are literally incapable of wielding fel magic; it would be a breach of lore to have NE do it and there would be no point for an allied human/gnome to be there
