you're wrong. Most of these marine aquariums are stuck with rulebooks now where they can't take rescue animals anymore (except third world shitholes who still buy poached animals), but instead buy or trade with other zoos.
They are not fed a proper diet (mostly those tiny fish) and their habitat is a relatively tiny pool and indoor cage. They get stressed, their teeth fall out, they start to strip the flesh from their skin like a crackhead. They are born and die in bondage for entertainment value all to raise awareness about animals most people will never see in the wild.
