I had a lot of fun with Splitgate 1 but it got old fast and they ran out of steam releasing content and new game types. Also some maps were horribly unbalanced to where you just couldn't win.

Splitgate 1 was boring. The portal mechanic only has two real functions of either movement or trying to shoot someone through it.
The gimmick got old fast, idk how people still play it.
If they're going all in on the gimmick why not make it more in-depth? Why not portals that give effects for bullets like extra penetration, or why not let portals access different areas on the map for unique spots that players try to fight for? Why not anything but just portal but with a gun and in a small arena

I loved SG1 but this game isn't doing anything for me. I fucking HATE the loadout system and there's not enough portal surfaces. I also don't like that you can't deny portal surfaces anymore.
