There's haven't been a single great games based on anime IPs. They're decent at best, and those are mostly Dragon Ball related games.

It actually struck a really nice balance between episodic adventure and overarching mystery that didn't make it feel very long. And I'm usually the first to shit on shonen filler.
Then there was a timeline retcon trainwreck that deleted everyone's character growth. You can just pretend it ended there and suddenly it's a good manga

Played it for a bit, the way it started was really strange with all these cutscenes that spoil a lot from the story and an interactive segment from a bit later on, I don't know if that's just a demo thing or something they'll also do in the final product. It's not great but I definitely prefer it to what I played of Farmagia, so I'll probably buy the game.
